Unlike traditional home elevators, Stiltz Home Elevators are freestanding and require no hydraulics or supporting walls. Like any major appliance, our residential elevators run on a standard dedicated 220 volt 15 amp wall outlet.
Eliminating the need for a shaft, the home lifts travel ‘through the floor’ on self-supporting dual rails. Each Stiltz home elevator includes top-of-the-line safety features that allow the user to stay mobile, even during a power outage!
Typically, it takes just 30 seconds to move between floors with a Stiltz Home Elevator. Our products are multi-functional, you can also use them for carrying heavy luggage and laundry. They can even accommodate the family pet!

Our 1950s home had unsafe stairs. Now our Stiltz carries groceries and heavy items between floors. The cost was worth it to stay in our home.
If I had a choice would I buy it again? Absolutely! I live with my daughter and son-in-law. Had I not purchased the elevator, I would be confined to the basement, not being able to join the family in their daily activities. That would have been very lonely.

Stiltz Homelift Location Options
Standard
This is the most common location
for a Stiltz Homelift. The elevator
travels through a floor opening from
a downstairs room, arriving upstairs,
typically in a bedroom.
Stairwell to Landing
This location takes advantage of
the void space in an open stairwell.
The lift ascends to an upper landing
that is secured by a gate through
the railing.
Closet
The Stiltz Homelift is compact
enough to fit inside an existing
closet on one or both floors
depending on the layout of
your home.
Thru-Car
The Thru-Car enables you to
enter and exit through opposite
sides of the lift, which is ideal for
balcony or three-stop applications.
Sloped Ceiling
The homelift’s support rails attach
to a horizontal surface. If you have
a vaulted ceiling, we have numerous
solutions for angled surfaces.
Garage
Enjoy quick access from the garage
into your home. For safety, this
requires the construction of a
simple shaft in the garage.
